Virtual healthcare services are generally categorized as “synchronous” and “asynchronous.” While synchronous care happens in real time (like an in-person visit or a videocall), asynchronous care doesn’t. Instead, patients send images, messages or information to their doctor electronically, through a HIPAA-compliant healthcare app, and their doctor will respond later.

GlissMessaging is our unique kind of asynchronous, messaging-based care. We provide the same quality care to you through in-depth intake questionnaires, a complete review of your electronic health record and messaging through the Healthie app. This care can include prescriptions.

GlissMessaging is a great option for women who:

● Love the idea of virtual care, but don’t love being on video or talking on the phone (or don't have enought time).
● Have an idea of what treatment they want and need some guidance and prescriptions (like birth control or HRT)
● Feel more confortable filling in-depth questionnaires than going to in-person visits.

Some states prohibit care without video or phone. If you reside in one of those, we will notify you of your options.

The cost of prescriptions is not included in our care services. This gives you the freedom to choose where to get your prescription filled. If you need it, we can send some medications to you — in this case, you can pay for them through our Gliss patient portal.

Yes! You pay for Gliss services upfront using a credit card, but you’ll get a detailed receipt for services that you can use for HSA reimbursement.

Our customized care packages include whatever gynecological services you need, based on your unique concerns. Some women opt for a customized care plan if they feel they need more regular in-depth appointments — for example, this could mean a 45-minute visit every week/two weeks, every month, or every 3 months.
